also, perhaps a little off topic but oh well
lets say grigorenko makes the team...
does he play at center or wing? I feel like if he does they should just pencil him in on the wing on the 3rd line but then if ott is taking faceoffs then switching to wing, I guess grigorenko is the center then?
idk it would be hard for a kid that young adjusting to center in the NHL like that...probably best for him to play wing so he doesnt have to be as liable on defense |

One is the American savior and the other the lazy Russian.....quite the irony.
Stats do not lie.....Reiger might be onto something here. |

I dont think they got Ott to throw him on the 4th line and McNabb deserves to be in the top 6...although darcy said he is slated for Roch
- Homer
I think line labeling is overrated. I dont think he is a top 6 forward. The move was more of addition by subtraction. Just because we acquired Ott doesnt mean he should be a top 6 forward. I think this is ideal for the team. He fits that line. I also hate that McNabb is not in the top 6 and slated for Rochester. I would love him as a top 6 every night and I hope we ship off Sekera in a deal and that opens up a spot for him.
I am hoping to God he gets it over Pardy/Weber too if it does become available.
If Grigorenko doesnt make the team. Ott is on the 3rd line. As of now, he doesnt fit on Pominville - Hodgson - Vanek line correct? I think we can agree that is our new #1 line. Also Foligno - Ennis - Stafford seems to be pretty rock solid as well. |

There are forwards coming.....Reiger was clear in his presser....expect a center and a winger. If Parise does not come to Buffalo, then I expect Semin to be a Sabre.
If Parise comes, Arnott and Langdenbrunner might come as well.
However, I think the Sabres are moving off Parise.
With Jokinen off the market, Arnott, Porter and Mueller along with Wellwood might be the next possible centers coming our way. - RicoMartin
Why do we want Peter Mueller? this guy is hurt all the time no thanks. |

I completely forgot about Tropp. The beauty of selective, offseason memory. |
