kaleta is not a 3rd liner IMO
keep him on the 4th line and pk - homiedclown
Ok
26-19-29
82-63-21
42-Ott-23
37-8-36
Until about 8 minutes into the first period of game 1. |

Haha why would pominville give ott 29? - MCGUIZZY
Yeah thats a joke Ott is a stand up guy and wouldn't even ask for 29.

An Ott-Arnott-Leino 3rd line wouldn't be too shabby, at all.
Plusses include people like Kaleta staying on the 4th line where they belong. Though, I really question Kaleta's usefulness now that Ott is here. |

kaleta is fine for 4th line and pk time
I do not mind giving him 1.2 mil for what he brings
also he can play spot duty on the 3rd line if a RWer gets nicked up for a few games |

Arnott and Leino on the same line make the slowest line in the NHL |

Oh yeah.. finally, let's get Doan. Love Ott.. brings it to every game, Kaleta is gonna be his and Scott's female dog. (whimpering) "Can I get you guys something"...
Sabres need this. Too many years of skinny, pushed around guys. Since Ray left we have been wussies. Not anymore. |

he has been...the guy produces, like him or not. - Homer
Agreed, Vanek does produce (albeit inconsistently), but he hasnt been our "best producer for years" as you suggested, that title belonged to Roy, like him or not. |

The team that gets Semin wins this summer IMO. He's the only goal scorer who somehow managed to get underrated on July 1st.
Arnott would have been a dream signing five years ago. Not so much now.
Would have liked Jokinen. Ahh well.
My thoughts anyway. |

Doan's not leaving Phoenix. The ownership situation will be all but official around July 9th when he will sign his deal. |

I hate Leinos contract and I hate the way Ruff used him this year.
His control of the puck along the boards I love (the only guy the Sabres have who can do that)
I think he should get PP time... |

Homer I think Vanek or Stafford could be on their way out, I have a hunch one of them is going to go. |

Stafford...merely as punishment for not being persuasive enough to lure Parise here. |

He always looked slow to me. Even guys like Pominville look fast compared to him |

I'm not a huge Ruff fan, but come on. You don't hit double digits in goals, that's not on any coach or linemates. That's on you.
Same with Boyes running his mouth. |

Semin would round up the front nice |

Since the lockout...
Roy 152 goals 256 assists 408 points
Vanek 230 goals 217 assists 447 points
So how was Roy our best producer again? |

He looked fine alongside Ennis and Stafford before the trade deadline. Then Hodgson came, and Lindy Ruff decided that Ennis should go back to the wing after he started playing the best hockey of the season at center. It all disappeared when Foligno came to play. |
