I was told by someone can't remember whom had said that Cory Schneider should get as much as Carey Price. Well doesn't look the case at all.

With the Boyes contract in mind, offering similar to Huse would make sense for Vancouver. Dumping Ballard would easily give us oodles of space for Doan still.

I like the idea of grabbing TomKom for a cheap 4th liner, Bradley I noticed a bit when he played in Washington, was never bad but never an omg why is this guy a 4th liner good.

Good signing of you want to win the president's trophy again, but he'll disappear when we need him most. Of rather sign a solid bottom 6 player or save that cap to go after Doan. If Doan stays in PHX or goes elsewhere, I think we'll have to look for a top 6 forward through a trade.

I was happy with letting him go, it wasn't making the team any better. I would rather gamble on cervenka for a year.

Doan is exactly what the Canucks need. Thought I read somewhere that he's not making a decision till the 8th or 9th, though. Really makes it a gamble waiting on him and having other options get signed.

lol didn't think of it that way. I meant power forwards, that can have a mean streak, but better on the ice since they are 30 goal scorers.

If i was racist I'd saying kadri for malholtra would be a fair trade.

he played there a few times last year and we have too many LW's. Otherwise we're looking at Stajan or Cervenka (also plays LW).

Stajan actually did well and was on a streak....but its stajan.

None are a true 1st line centre. .I expect they'll be cycling through them

That is interesting, I guess many people(including myself) underestimated the salary inflation. The GM's who locked up their stars a couple of years ago are in a great position right now.
