Dave Poulin said we'd be surprised at what Centers the Leafs are targeting. Dude on the NHL network (not sure of his name) said it could be one of Valterri Filppula/Patrick Marleau or Paul Stastny. He believes the Leafs will put together a package for once of these players and also said if Burke does trade for a Center It'll be from the Western Conference.

Dont see how Burke has any rope left if they fail again though... another miss will be 5 years since his infamous comment about rebuilding.

The longer Kulemin remains unsigned the more I think he is gonna be part of a deal to bring in a Center. On the left side we have Lupul/JVR/Kulemin for 2 top 6 roles. Kule is certainly expendable. |
