yes it is. Burke said he tried to resign Crab but he was asking too much. We have guy with the marlies that are just as good or better than him. Crab is no loss.

Plus, his trade track record has been very good since he's been here, and that's why he's said several times leading up to the draft and July 1st is that he wants to address our shortcomings through trades. Only makes sense because we have bodies to move if anyone else comes this way.

I think we are saying the same thing here boss; just with different perspectives. I said Losing Crabb wouldn't be much of a worry. I'm just tired of everybody basing the reasoning on money and not whether he is actually a good fit for the teams needs.

Crabb was a great 4th liner. If tehre were injuries you know he can move up and play some extra even strength minutes.

Suter and Parise better be on his radar. His annoying stance against long term contracts will ensure they do not sign with the leafs.
If you think Burke is going to get lucky like he did with the Gardiner and Lups trade again, well you will be disappointed.
Not a lot of teams are dying to acquire "talent" from a bottom feeding team.
