On Paper, the Leafs have plenty of talent on D. They either had no coaching or no one bought into the system, and they sucked.

Price makes all the difference in the world on top of that.

As it stands now, the Leafs are the type of team that would require a perfect season to make the playoffs. A career year, no injury where everything goes absolutely perfect type of season.

Just look at the teams ahead of us and around us and look at the improvements they have made. It's a long road ahead.

One thing to make of it is that in last couple of days the Northeast has gotten a lot tougher and nastier and the Leafs need to improve in that area big time or else
