He's still the best all-round dman on the team (dear god) but just couldn't handle that workload.

Ashton will replace Crabb as fringe 3rd liner/scrubb who plays more games than he really probably should

I think giving up Aulie was bad, especially now that Schenn is gone... I really hope Holzer can move his game to the NHL.. If so I guess it will work out....

Ashton I like, seems to have the right amount of energy, just hope he calms his nerves a bit and starts producing offensively.. Seems to be ove-rthinking plays a bit at the moment

I really hope Ashton reaches his potential, i like the kids energy.. we will be a tough team to play against in the near future with ross, ashton, biggs

Agreed on Aulie. I would have liked to keep him and moved someone like Franson or Percy for picks/depth. I don't see Ashton being that great of a player, but then again I'm not a coach or GM so meh.

They should put Grabovski on the 1st line, if they don't get a #1C. I don't know if it would work, but they should try it out.

nah I don't agree with that. He's a banger, just not enough skill to be effective in NHL I don't think.
