They most likely have a trade in place to dump salary if they both accept.

Salary dump's don't make sense either... Most of the large salaries are locked up in NTC/NMC (Briere/Hartnell/Schenn/Grossmann/Coburn/Timmo)... You're not going to get anywhere trading salarys less than $1M (Read/Rinaldo/Wellwood/MAB/Lilja/Sestito) You're not going to dump Giroux, B. Schenn or Coots... Who's left; Talbot, Simmonds which won't gain much with Salaries less than $2M. It pretty much leave you with only Voracek's ~$3M

Flyers should throw Shelley into the deal for either Suter or Parise. He can be their assistant/chauffeur/butler.
