youre right, hes not tavares. He has a higher points per game for his career, and 5, 30 goal seasons under his belt....look dont get me wrong, tavares is a great player, but give parise some credit. He put up 94 points four seasons ago.

We could have kept/re-signed PA, maybe for a little less than he took....maybe not....we'll never know. Garth should have dealt him at the deadline. That 8th defenesman might have been the gem of the bunch....

One announcer said the Leafs are in such a hole they will never get out of it. My point is that the Leafs are looking for a goalie as well as a #1 center. They feel there are only 10 #1 centers in the NHL...they included Tavares in the 10...

That sounds like too much BUT that's the kind of "overpayment" this team needs to make in order to attract a dancing partner. Been sayin it for over a month now. The ONLY way this team will get a legit Top 4 fwd or Dman is by overpaying. Tavares is a center and makes everyone around him better. Yes Parise is a great player but I do not think he is as good as JT. I expect JT to have a 94 pt season as soon as next year. Only problem is who will be on his line beside Moulson.

yes...they were saying that Burke is sick of free agency and he is going to get his needs by trade. The announcers said that you rarely get a #1 center either in free agency or a trade. The only one mentioned was Richards that was available.
