That's a big part of it. I feel as though they were to completely defensively inept, and all around talentless as well...

I mean, does anyone really think 80 million for 10 years of Parise is a good deal? Its not, whoever signs Parise is gonna get screwed. Who really made their team that much better today? Montreal got a decrepid injury prone fourth line, so woo hoo. July 1st = over hyped waste of time.

Not too good. They need to get bigger on D and to cut some dead weight. Also, they need a goalie. If they did add a centre that would be good, but if they added another top line winger, that would be good too. If they had 4 real good wingers, I can live with Bozak/Grabovski as the 1/2 centres.

Its pretty good. It means I am usually smarter then everyone , so theres that!

not convinced carlyle will be much of an improvement. better defensively.. but same approach, probably same affect.

I dont know. I think Riemer can be ok, and most goalies are more or less equal. I would say if its not one of those 2, then Bernier or don't bother. But I also don't think its worth it to blow your brains out in a trade for a goalie. SO, if its a choice between trading Kadri or higher, I say keep the status quo.

Yeah thats pretty dumb. If Suter is a top ten D man, hes 10th, and I dont think hes THAT good. There are a lot of forwards better Parise. I understood when everyone went nuts for Kovalchuck, but I don't think Parise is in the same class.
