Me too, me too.

Still in Cali, btw. Just got back from the Keys last night, now it's 23 days of working/packing/closing out business before the trucks show up. Stress ball.

"In an interview with CBC.ca posted Sunday prior to the signing, Boyes voiced some frustration with Sabres coach Lindy Ruff, saying “I want to play for a coach that I respect a lot and that’ll go a long way in the way that I play."

I was one of the few who defended Pommer last year, now everyone loves him for his "two way play". Bullpoop everybody wanted him GONE last summer.

but anyways, I like Pominville but he is a puss.

'nuff said.

While I do think Ruff's has been here a bit too long, I'm still waiting for a player that has actually accomplished something to complain about him. Derek Roy's and Brad Boyes' complaints mean nothing to me.

You never know why one moves back to Buffalo, loss of job, sick relative, won the lottery... So I was just hoping the best for you. I know that if I could move back that I would, but my career track isnt exactly a booming business back in the Buff...

... I am really not sure if I can agree with you on this... He played his butt off all year in order to live up to wearing the C... he might not be a prototypical captain who voices his concerns and leads the men into battle but he always has lead by example.

he was our most valuable player last year not only in 5-5, but in power play and PK as well. If we actually had a solid depth roster.. he wouldn't even have to be on PK but he was. I would give him more credit then you are.

Part of leading by example is having the ability to inspire others to follow. It's not enough to elevate your own game, but you have to do it in a way that gets others to do it to their own games as well. I still think that is debatable. There was one point in the year I thought he did, but then it seemed to disappear.

that is a fair statement... i cannot disagree with you..

he is NOT the prototypical captain by any means..

I think Ehrhoff will wear the C in a few years unless a bigger name is brought in.

Ehrhoff did yell out the commands and details during play.. he did try to motivate others around him.. and he did stand up and fight guys numerous times when they were getting chirpy or pushing with Miller..

I'm pretty sure when Ehrhoff got hurt and missed 15 or so games this year it was in a fight for nudging Miller.. Chicago maybe?
