Hey DixonWard.....Arron Asham is now a Ranger..signed today
also was laughing at the friendly jousting between Homer and blueandgold. I f memory serves me correct either yesterday or day before you were saying (via sources) Parise will be coming to Buffalo as Stafford was buddy buddy with hm and talking up in Minn
another person understands that comparing the offensive output of a complete Goon is useless... the only reason he is here is to fight.. and at fighting.. he is the best on our team HANDS DOWN. Thats all he is getting his 600k check for so that is all that matters. - JVince11
Thanks for educating the rest of us on why we signed Scott!

No he just trades him in NHL12. - dadeadhead
I bet he does more than that.. he probably goes into his settings... changes him to a woman.. puts all of his attributes at 0 or as low as possible.. and then puts him on Team Japan or Kazakhastan or something like that...

Never said he 100% done deal was coming to Buffalo because of Stafford. Buffalo's offer was completely outbid by other teams.

so I can't respond to your bonehead statement about mccormick being a reason why we did not get respect in a flyer series?
really?
come on man
mccormick was the least of the issues in that series, thought you knew a bit about hockey
it's goals and goaltending in the playoffs
as simple as it gets - homiedclown
All i meant is that if Philly was even slightly thinking about the repercussions of checking timmy into the boards like a rag doll.. nearly cutting off pominville's foot.. The hits/trash talking/cheap plays on Miller or elbowing Kaleta in the face... They probably wouldn't have done it all..
All the playoffs is about is goaltending.. whoever is the hottest usually wins.

Asham is never out of work long and after this season will have played for every Atlantic Team.
In regards to Parise, I've been saying he's coming for a year. I think the other day I said money would not be the issue. I guess I was wrong on all counts. Mea Culpa.

Everything that we are paying Cody and Scott to be..... Scott is better..
we want a Goon... and we got one now..
at being paid to be a Goon.... Scott>McM in every facet of THAT...
- JVince11
who ever said that Cody was paid to be our "enforcer"? Is it a bad thing that he can actually play the game a little. Great for us, Scott can fight. Awesome, dude. But he can't play a lick of hockey, and that means Cody>Scott.
I stand corrected. Just read the CBA and there are certain exemptions that I misunderstood.
Regardless, Brennan is exempt from waivers even if he signs a 1 way contract due to games played. - theblueandgold
You're wrong there:
Any NHL player that is being assigned to the minors has to clear waivers unless they are exempt.
For younger players, there's the games played/years since first NHL contract exemption and for older players there's the 10 games/30 days since last being waived and conditioning loan exemptions. There is no mythical period of time before the waiver period begins when you can sneak waiver eligible players into the minors. Brennan was exempt for three seasons or 160 NHL games.
He's played three seasons, so he is no longer waiver exempt and therefore must clear regular waivers to be assigned to the AHL.
I want hockey players on the team I root for, not no talent wastes of space. - dadeadhead
Let me ask you something.
When Lucic ran Miller last year, and Miller ended up with a Concussion, and pretty much ended our playoff run, How did you feel??????

dont take your hate from the boards out on me
miller stunk it up in those games and was way more of an issue then mccormick
and for the record, I have no time to change player settings on a game
I run my own freakin business and have a full time job so I can pay off a 30 year mortgage in 10 years
