Well as Bucky reported earlier today, its Buffalo and Philly that are the only real suitors left for Ryan.

However, and just my opinion, the fact that Regier hasnt scheduled his usual end of July 1 PC leads me to believe he may still be in on something as of right now

Paul Hamilto says a bunch of players were pretty critical off the record. He said one player called Ruff the most negative coach he's ever had in his entire hockey career.

it's hard to read Darcy because he's actually making moves, it's just that it's hard to get guys when 5-10 teams really really want him as bad as you do. Parise is one of the few players i would roll up the Brinks for, Richards i liked but not for what he makes now, kovie either, sutter i would entertain as well.

it's tough, i don't doubt you're right about players being apprehensive with those two still here but i guess maybe we're just lucky to be in the conversation instead of it being laughable that we could get one of the top guys. eventually you've got to figure we'll be able to get one of the FA whales, hopefully they pick wisely if they are afforded the opportunity...

All of those guys were complete dogs by the time they left. I don't understand why people put stock in what they say/said about Lindy.

If you had someone screaming at you and going to other co workers and the public ripping you apart everytime you didnt make a sail, I think it would be different.

I doubt Darcy does much of anything, seems he would rather sign UFA then trade any of our players. I thought maybe we would see atleast 1 player signed by him already, day isn't over I guess.

Hard to remain in good spirits and keep up your play when everything is so negative.

We can sit here and say "that guy sucked so his words mean nothing" but thats the wrong attitude to have.

Just by watching games you can tell in a lot of our players body language much of what Afinogenov, Boyes, etc said. Roy, Vanek, Stafford, Myers... they all have displayed the body language that it sucks playing for Ruff.

Dineen shouldve been hired as our coach last season.
