Still say Brodeur stays w/ #NJDevils. If he moves, he'll want to start - not split time or coach-up eventual successor #Blackhawks

Yes.
But we natives are restless , the Hawks go belly up 1st round out again, could cause some attendence problems. - mrpaulish
Hey, I'm 100% with you. They're going to sell out regardless. Whether 20k fans show up every night is another story. |

We sat on 6 mil in cap space this year. All we have to do is sign Doan. To get Nash, we would most likely have to give up Kane. You aren't going to replace Kanes skill set with that extra cap space. So once again. Doan + Kane > Nash. By a wide margin.
Nash isn't coming here. And Doan is most likely staying as well. But it's much more realistic he inks here than us trading for Nash. - ilinkhawk
That's logical. 2 good players are always better than 1 good player. Have to add to Nash's side.
So..........what's better:
Kane and Doan
Or
Nash and Ott(or Suter)???????? |

Chelios could be Red Wings' recruiting ace -- played at Wisconsin, knows Suter's uncle and ... well, he's Cheli.

According to @AnsarKhanMLive, Wings owner Mike Ilitch and Chris Chelios scheduled to visit Ryan Suter's farm in Wisconsin.

Oh, I don't think there's a shot we will get Nash. I'm saying that I would rather trade Kane for Nash and use the rest of the money for the other holes.
I'm just a big Nash fan. I think he'd be a huge improvement. And I agree with you, it's more likely than not that the 'Hawks would get neither. |

Ek reporting Wild brass flying to Toronto. I hope Parise doesn't start a circus like Richards did last year. I thought that was a joke. |

Are people happy with the possible result of Suter and a 4th line center who can win draws? Is that enough to make this team a cup contender again? (I think it is) |

Not without a coach who can design successful special teams. |

Not to be a contrarian, but I don't believe it is. I think they need more depth up and down the lineup. It's a start. Having Suter will slot other guys more appropriately, but they just need a different attitude from the forwards |

I read the same thing. I also think the Hawks have the longest season ticket holder waiting list in the league.
Who are half of these people posting today? Did I miss "membership drive" day in here or something? - EKolb13
Ya, but I'll bet a large number of them are people that jumped on in 2010. If the team keeps going south they will go away just as quickly has they came on. |

No worries I asked the question because I figured people felt that way. I think ideally they could add someone who plays with grit to replace Bickell, but I'd be very surprised if the top 6 changes at all |

So let me get this right...
Holland is heading to Toronto to speak with Parise's agents, and Ilitch and Chelios (I hope he never comes back to Chicago again) are going to Madison to speak with Suter. Stan....at the nearest IHOP ordering a second helping of pancakes while checking his twitter feed... |

If Luongo goes anywhere, it will be Toronto IMO.
Of course they will also get Suter, Parise, Nash, Doan, Gretzky, Toe Blake & the rights to Sidney Crosby's first born.
