Why would those tier 2 players sign until parise and suter set the bar high? Like Allen, garrison, carle, doan, etc. I don't give a poop about 4th liners. I want the marquee players and I doubt anyone of significance signs today with anyone.

Bollig does just fine at that. When Bollig lays a hit, the guy on the other end feels it. Bollig is also defensively responsible for the most part. As for Tootoo holding his own in a fight, did you miss that one where Bollig cleaned his clock?

Ya know, this FA thing may take weeks to sort itself out. Besides, trades can also be made so the final roster may not be known for some time.
