Prices for Parise are going to be way too high. Excellent player, but not worth having gut a team for bonuses...wouldn't be surprised to see a similarity w/ Suter.

Don't have to gut a team for bonuses - unless the new CBA changes things retroactively - just have to come up with the cash (not to minimize that, but RW should be able to do it) NOT cap space.

I'll reserve my final judgment until tonight or tomorrow, but so far, I'm not impressed with what's coming out of the Madhouse on Madison. There are several dudes who could be the sandpaper guys the Hawks need who have gone to other teams. If Konopka signs for less than a $1M consider me pissed
