I read what JJ said as there is more to the fan base then who attends a game. Jersey sales, shirts, hats = more $$$$$$$etc etc. Having to compete with da bears, da bulls who at least appear to be going for it, the hawks have to do the same with a 'splash'

TSN is reporting that Detroit (including Mike Ilitch) will likely be first to meet w/Parise and his contingent in Toronto. I wonder if Ilitch's hair piece made it through customs? I've never heard of raccoons crossing the border
