I don't want Doan if it requires a three year contract.

I don't want Nash.

I don't want Suter.

Why would you not want Suter?

I don't really want Suter either. I see too much J-Bo in him.

I don't think it is out of the question for a combination of those guys and first round picks to get Bobby Ryan to Philly.

I worry about signing a defenseman who has played in a small market, next to perhaps the best defenseman on the planet right now to a big money deal. I'm afraid he would eaten alive in Philadelphia and not live up to expectations.

EDIT: Not trying to be a jerk and I apologize if I was one. Just not enamoured with Suter.

Would that work money wise? It'd prob be 7 mil instead of 5 for Carle. If some team wants to pay Carle 6 mil.. best of luck to them

J-Bo was in that teir too. Big contract, big pressure, big city is all bad for a guy that has really had nothing to prove in Nashville. I think he'd be a flop here.

Not quite enough bang for the buck it'll take to sign him.

Weber, OK. Suter, no.

Oh no. I want no parts of Nash whatsoever.

His highest scoring season was 79 points.....3 years ago.....And I don't buy the "He was on a bad team excuse." If that were the case he could have at least MATCHED that total the past 3 seasons.

Talk about a bad contract.

Would you guys be wiling to part with 2013 and 2014 first round picks in a deal for Bobby Ryan?

With the amount of youth that would put in this line up I think I would be willing to include those in a deal to acquire Ryan and be able to keep Schenn's and Couturier on the roster.

Thoughts?

MJL absolutely will not be on board with Nash being a better trading piece than Bobby Ryan. I am sure of that.

- Flyers2821

Not what I was getting at in the slightest. Just your views raise one problem after another.

For what it's worth if we're making a trade I'd rather it be Ryan than Nash, but your whole idea that with Parise and Nash gone Ryan's price falls is just flat out false.

That is a really tough decision, but that said: Giroux, Schenn X 2, Coots, Read, Jake, Simmer are all real young. Even Mezzy, Coburn, and Grossman are young. I think I'd make the move, but then if they are getting two firsts I'd only part with MAB.

It would be interesting to see how much more above the two firsts it would take. Would be interesting for sure.
