Not freaking put over it but I'm not too crazy about bringing Leighton back if their plan is to keep him on the Flyers as the back up.
Better to have cut ties with him I think.

- Marc D

I'm not wild about signing Leights, but now that the dust has settled on the backup role I like the draft picks and the $800k in cap space.

Something else needs to happen, simply so everyone can stop talking about the completely irrelevant Leighton signing!

Worst backup available one that conjures up miserable memories. Not to mention the guy has played one game in two years. What's the rationale for bringing this stiff back?

Amazing how the yes men have no issue with it. Lot of people would make fine citizens in North Korea.

Do you see Talbot as a 3rd or 4th line player this year?

Couturier's winger?

- Flyers2821

Couturier did a good job of a 4th line center... But, he needs to move up off of the 4th line. And, put Talbot on his wing... Grab McClement for the 4th line center.

Hearing #Sabres are going HARD for Semin. Looks like they are front runners right now. Other teams interested (still trying to find names)

irrelevant is your ECHL b/u. with the way bryz can implode, the NHL b/u here is significant.

You're right. With the flyers signing leighton they have no shot at making the playoffs. Lets call it now it's a lost season.

Give me a (frank)ing break. He's the ahl starter and nothing more.

The price of backups is rising:

DET agrees to terms with Jonas Gustavsson on a 2 year deal with a total of $3M

That is the reality of the situation... if Bryz collapses next season it will not matter who the back up is.

- PLindbergh31

Could Leighton honestly play any worse than Bob did last year?
