My hope:

Ryan "headcase" Miller and anyone except Myers and Ehrhoff to Anaheim for Ryan and Hiller. It's time to move on. Miller has been here to long with no results.

People need to learn to enjoy his presence instead of blasting him. He's too much fun.

I would say anyone at this point is up for trading if the price was right. I do like the tough style of both foligno and mcnabb. In today's NHL you have to give up quality to get quality. To me, to rid the Sabres of Ryan Miller, I would listen to all offers.

i get what you're saying about miller, although i disagree about miller's worth (hillers stats are comparable with a hall of famer on the blue line)...

foligno and mcnabb are hockey players through and through...

wouldn't want to part with either of those two

Answer one question yes or no buffalo finishes near the bottom of the league the past 2-3 seasons if not for miller. There is not a goalie available that's an upgrade over miller, unless your getting quick lundquist or rinne miller is the best option the guys had concussion issues lately and when they were gone his play ramped up. However if he plays poorly again this season like the first half of last season then I agree move him. This team is nothing without miller

It's too bad he just dropped off the face of this site. He was so much fun. I don't think he had an enemy either.

I wonder what happened to the one who liked Connolly? She just plain disappeared.

ageed...one could argue that it's miller's fault...for the team not having a top-five pick these past few seasons

I'm no Miller lover but I have to admit he was left hung out to fend for himself too many times. All those other goalies have a good defense in front of them. Put Brodeur on our team and he would be no better.

Their potential seems high. They, at this point, are not proven NHL'ers. If you can get a proven performer it might be worth the gamble.
It is time for a big shake up here in Buffalo. The core here is a boring, losing team. I think the goal in Buffalo is to win now. That is why I think anyone could be traded today.

Kevin, how could you say Foligno needs more time in Rochester?? He will never see the A again, come on man.

I'll pass on Sullivan and Jokinen, no thanks. Give me a team of the Doans and Prusts.

Some don't like my opinions of PA but he would fit in nicely on this team. He'll go somewhere else and cash in.

i'm all for purging "la core"

start with roy...i'd even go as far as vanek

but, for me, this season, i'd hang on to miller and continue adding hockey players as opposed to skill players

minimal moves i'd like to see:

--trade roy
--sign arnott
--trade for chris stewart

other notes (imo, of course,):

not big on nash
suter ain't comin'
parise will cost waaay too much
no other ufa's are really that appealing

bobby ryan to buffalo's a possibility (talks started months ago, trades take a while, and this one, if it happens, may take all summer)...would be a pretty strong move for the team

and, damn it...

Leino already plays wing, Ennis will not be our 4th line center. Your points on why we should get Jokinen make no sense at all
