And even Tavares is only making 5.5, so anyone who thinks they are getting 7 is just stupid, 6 I can see if they start having great season, but more realistically I see them signing I see them signing 5/6 year deals at 5.5.

Yeah that's it, he was definitely being incredibly greedy the entire time and then finally came to his senses and coalesced to all of Edmonton's needs.

There's absolute no chance that he was never as greedy as reported by the Cloutier hate-machine...
