somebody better feed this fool cause about 29 teams are gonna be coming to crush this lil ant for the sideshow circus he put on. I say he's got BUST written all over him and he helps edmonton to another 29th overall finish. Then next year when all the entry levels are up and the cap is about 70% what it is now the Oil find out what having Kevin LOwe still running the shots means when they still suck and can't afford the 8 mil a season Hall and Eberle will both want.....

It's my personal opinion that Edmonton is a terrible city and the Oilers will suck anyway and Justin schultz is both Selfish and destined to fail.

But I'm not being bitter, though. That's just my opinion.

Yeah, if you like an entire album with lyrics that go like this:

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Acoustic guitar
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
More acoustic guitar

Pretty true

I do like his stuff, but City and Colour's success contributed to the end of AOF, who I was a huge fan of. So (frank) him.

is that what it has been like in here? No one could have seen that coming...

But in all seriousness, you guys just got a grade A prospect who is NHL ready for free. Nothing would be able to bring me down if the Oilers were my #1 team today.

Not a bad addition for a team looking for help on D.

I wouldn't be surprised if he needs ahl seasoning too. We got a grade A prospect and I hope we don't ruin him. All other people can call him a bust if he goes down to the ahl but he still has a big jump to make to the NHL.

Depends how he does in training camp. He was considered a better prospect than Gardiner at the time he was traded.

Ah I'd take that with a grain of salt. Some players games translate better or perhaps quicker to the NHL than others. But your right if he does well In training camp then by all means throw him in the line up but only if he's ready. They shouldn't worry about impatient oiler fans and a sub par d core needing an improvement.

He stated clearly in his interview he knows he has to earn his spot in the NHL and he doesn't expect to be just handed to him. He also has remorse as to how big his whole ordeal created so much drama, but he just wanted to do what's best for him. If he didn't sign with EDM, whatever, he did whatever he felt was best for him.

You Edmonton Oiltards are starting to sound like the run of the mill Nucklehead fans. Arrogance already and you still haven't made it to the post season for a few years. Are we seeing a Pittsburgh model, in Oil Country, or will it be the Islanders model. Draft high, then watch the season die.......processing................

Toronto fans shouldn't talk. Your playoff drought is worse than ours. Most of us oiler fans realize the state of the team and what's needed. However I'd rather have our roster going forward than yours and I think most would agree.

Eb's IMO would be the ideal choice to convert to play center
-He has played center in the past
-Hall game is suited to play the wing
-Hall is the only true top 6 LW the team has

It seems like a no brainer to me.

anyone know which of Hall or Eberle is better on the dot?

This time of year, GM's and people in the know are laughing at the so called internet rumor guys and their breathless "updates".

Let's say it the way it is. NHL GM's share trade/UFA strategy with very tight circle of staff. Do you really think rumor guys have a clue?

Apparently they do if they had the knowledge of JVR Schenn trade months before it happened
