Ryan Dittrick interviewed him and he said that he was made no guarantees with regards to ice time or his role on the team. He said "Look at who they have there, they'll all be superstars one day and I want to be a part of that"

I'm not sure what our Quebec friends' feelings are on that particular brand of poutine but as far as I'm concerned it's some of the best stuff this side of Ottawa.

With that said, that stuff looks good man. Do they have that in BC at all? Or is that not a western Canadian thing.

I think they get the real Quebec eastern township cheese curds, that's the key to legit poutine. This is Canada's secret weapon in trade with America. It's a natural; fries, gravy and cheese, once Americans get a taste of that they'll be the biggest poutine sickos going. Forget about the tarsands pipeline, they'll be lobbying for a giant poutine pipeline straight from Quebec. (frank) I have the munchies.

It's Quebec's gift to humanity, but in the last few years it has become a national thing. I know in Toronto it's everywhere now. Oddly enough I had a debate with my gf last night whether or not it's truly entrenched as a national and internationally known dish; she thinks it's a trend, I think it's up there now with hockey and universal health care, which is appropriate because it will cause a lot of heart attacks. Haven't been out west for a few years so I'm not sure.

I think it's just an Ontario thing. We've got 9 or 10 of them here in Toronto and I know there's one in London too. There's one just around the corner from me and it's saved my life more than a few times on my way home from the bars. Guaranteed to avoid a hangover.
