I agree. I thought it was a good signing when he came here but he just couldn't stay healthy to contribute as much as I hope he would. Glass is a nice replacement. |

i know... i think it's 5 something million...
kinda weird considering he had 40 goals for DET the year before. shame he left, i really liked him... but had we resigned him for the 7 million... this team would be very different. |

yea. so take it with a grain of salt...
but appears the writing is on the wall... nothing is done, but with the visits cancelled and the Penguins appearing quiet and confident.. something has to be up. |

no doubt that Parise had his mind on a few teams. i would throw NJ in with those 4, but it appeared that Parise understood that the money wouldnt be there.
nothing is done yet though. deals have fallen though. while i think this guy's twitter is better than most... obviously short of the official TSN guys and such, but he has been dead on on a number of things in the last few weeks. |

I think the Pens dont need Suter. I've said for awhile now. He would be nice but Parise is what we need. Despres and Morrow are going to be great as early as this season. We have Letang, Orpik, Nisk, and Martin. No reason to invest 7-8 million in a position you have depth at. Resign Letang instead. |

i agree...maybe if we signed suter for only 3 years until pouliot (or whatever), maatta and harrington develop, but suter wants at least 6+ years |
