Yeah, Yotes aren't going to give him away. I could see Despres, Kennedy and a first. Tangradi is a throw in at this point. Strait has value but not too high a value. If the Pens make a move for a good NHL player, don't be surprise if Despres is the guy that goes.

His 5.25 cap number is solid on all teams NOT owned by the NHL.

And the fact that they really dont have a true #1 center makes him a good chip to play. They don't appear to want to move him, but if he gets them a Jordan Staal/David Krecji/Kopitar type #1 center, then they very much ARE listening

Letand-Orpik is fine, its just the rest of our D pairings are a little weak. Theres hannan, but how does he fit? Martin-Hannan Nisk-Eng?

I don't like the Suter rumors because of the term. If you can get a good veteran defensive defenseman for a couple of years, that would be perfect. It would fill the gap, and allow some of the prospects to grow.

Concussions are the only issue, but he come back last year and was still impressive. 16 Pts in 32 Gms. With Cooke protecting him and Sutter making some plays, he's a good pick up...and only like 1 mill a year.

I have a feeling Suter is waiting for the Parise shoe to drop. If he goes to a team like Pit, you may see Suter follow suit.

Dont think Suter is coming cause I dont think Martin is getting moved. Suter coming would necessitate the latter, which is not happening.

That's why the deal for Michalek was really odd(not so odd with Aucoin moving to Columbus yesterday).

Getting him back seemed like the move before the move. I do know the organization hated to see him go to you guys 2 years ago. That's been widely reported down here.
