Bortuzzo is, and i brought that up 3 nights ago and was ignored. They are going to trade Bortuzzo and/or Strait. Despres and Morrow are "Untouchable" by Shero. - Magicmanmalkin
I think the only "untouchable" is Morrow. TIOPs reported Despres could be had in a deal for the right player. Bortuzzo is their only true physical prospective dman that's close to ready.
By the way, if it's true that Martin called Parise to help sway him, no way he'll be moved. Boy would that be a richard move. |

It's not going to happen, especially if the Pens get Parise.
A) Do you really think that Jagr is going to play for a team where he is like the 6th option. In his mind, he is still a great player.
2) He will not go to a team where he will not be on the 1st PP unit. And he will NOT play on the 1st PP unit on the Pens, with Malkin, Crosby, Neal, Parise, etc. |

Hopefully Martin playing with Parise will boost his play, but personally i think Martin fits in ours system, he would be better in a Nashville or Detroit. |

How funny would it be if Parise signs with the Pens, Martin gets traded to the Red Wings, and then Parise walks around Martin in game 7 of the Finals to score the GWG. |

Pens PP should be (with Parise): 1PP- Crosby,Malkin, Kunitz, Neal, Letang
2PP Parise,Sutter,Dupuis,Martin,Niskanen. |

No way your paying 7 mil + to a winger and not putting him on the first PP |

I read that too... makes sense. Both Minnesota boys, and former teammates.
Unless the Pens sign Suter, I really can't see them moving Martin. As much as we railed on him last year, I am good with giving him another shot this season. He was good two years ago, and played decent down the stretch.
If he made $3 million a year, no one would be really dogging him, and as long as his $5 mil contract doesn't prevent Shero from making any moves, I'm fine with keeping him. It's not my money.... |

The first PP has great chemistry. I wouldnt Split the Malkin-Neal-Kunitz group on the first PP.

To the 500 #penguins fans who followed me last week, wasn't qualified. Thanks for the follow its been a fun 5 days!
lol... the goalie we got in the Michalek deal is now a UFA. Read that he's a boyhood friend with Sid, I figured they just brought him in for depth, and for that reason.
I guess with all of the goalies drafted, Theissen & Zatkoff signed, they had no room. |

Radulov is set to make 300 million rubles per year, around $9.2 million, in the #KHL. More details soon on Puck Daddy.
Damn... he might be lazy, but he isn't stupid. |

Gotta give up a lot more than spare parts for Yandle. Would have to include a top prospect I would think.
I just don't see why the Coyotes would move him anyway, he's got a good salary number, and seeing how far the Coyotes are from the cap floor, it's not like they can really give up a $5 mil guy. |

Why would you give Letang for Yandle???? Letang is a better player. If you trade Letang for Yandle, it would have to be Yandle+ |

Michael Russo @Russostrib
Of the "small select group" on Parise's list including #mnwild, Parise will talk to each team again today. This could take some time #nhl

Yeah, Yotes aren't going to give him away. I could see Despres, Kennedy and a first. Tangradi is a throw in at this point. Strait has value but not too high a value. If the Pens make a move for a good NHL player, don't be surprise if Despres is the guy that goes.

ESPN reporter said Parise-Crosby-Jagr line is a possibility. - Magicmanmalkin
I stopped reading at "ESPN Reporter"
I love watching 55 minutes of dunks for 10 seconds of hockey.....unless a McSorley incident happens.....then ESPN pretends to be experts on all things hockey |
