Nonis handles the signings for the most part... But yea, Burke made it clear he was looking at trades over UFA signings to make a difference.

Don't attack me, but I have a good idea.

Lupul and Bozak for Crosby.

Listen, Pittsburgh realizes they made a mistake by signing him longterm.

I know, he's Crosby, but the next concussion could be his last.

They also save on cap space greatly in which they can use for Getzlaf next year.

In Lupul, they get a cheap, emerging, elite winger with spunk and Bozak will replace Staal as a 3rd line C.

It's a huge risk on our part with the concussion problem.

Not really. The guy has super great chemistry with your best player (best forward anyways), is the leader of the team, has recovered from a career threatening injury and is an inpiration to millions, is signed to a great deal, and he was one of like 20 players who avereged a ppg.

Plus, its not like other gms are going to over pay for a guy coming off one good year our of 6 who has a history of injuries.

It makes no sense to trade him.
