Has he actually actually picked his team or is everyone going by their fav twitter guy. - ALeafsFan4Ever
That's pretty much the way it's going.....they all have different inside info...lol....but the common theme is that T-Dot is out of the running. |

Anyone else feel like Komi is a very important piece now? Who else is physical on the back end? Phaneuf for first 10 games might be, but noone else that just lays people out that guys are intimidated by in front of net. I hope Holzer gets nastier, but right now right this second, Komi is most physical only shut down dman on roster..
I know Burkes just starting his summer, but Leafs needed to get tougher and so far have moved out anyone that we would consider physical or tough to play against haha. Hopefully theyre planning to improve this area over the summer |

I would love for that to be our third line. But unfortunately there's no chance. Even without the new summer additions we will get, that wouldn't happen. That would mean guys like Macarthur/Connolly wouldn't be in the lineup. I'm not opposed to this, but I just don't think it would happen. - dionschenn
Agreed the chances are slim....but I can still hope.... |

I have to disagree. I am not in any way sold on Colborne. I have a feeling he'll never be an NHL top-6. i could be wrong, but I think they should package him in a deal now while he still has some prospect value.
If things work out well and we're able to snag a #1C & the likes of Shane Doan, I'd like a 2nd & 3rd line of
JVR Grabo Doan
Kulemin Bozak Frattin - Phenom
Yeah that looks good. I just don't see Connolly and Macarthur sitting in the press box though. I really wish Macarthur was traded at the deadline. |

I think that being on the list of five teams means that we were...... Only a couple of people know where he's going right now, and I think that only one is on twitter... |

Connolly doesn't seem like a guy another team would take. |

Maybe Komi is still an important piece of the puzzle, if used properly. If he's protected, in a good defensive system, with decent back-checking, then maybe his effectiveness will return. With the addition of some decent forwards with size, it might be a good gamble going forward. |

Colborne isn't a top 6 forward, I agree. He never was. Only leaf fans started thinking he was when he was traded here. He's 3rd line center.
So ya, trade him. |

Well, in my scenario, any deal for a #1C would include Kadri/Colborne and Mac in some kind of package....maybe even Connolly to offset the salary being exchanged. Fat chance I know, but as Leaf fans, if we can't dream a little, what else do we have??? |

Love the idea of Kulemin Bozak Frattin as a 3rd line. Pretty good on the forecheck, defensively responsible and should pot a few goals |

It would be much easier to deal Mac. Being a Sabre fan, you should know how hard it would be to deal Connolly. |

Mac has been solid as a Leaf but he's not really a bottom 6 guy and he's not good enough anymore to be in our top 6. Especially with this whole new "getting bigger up front" mentality. |

If Lombardi is in the lineup this year I'll have a hard time being a Leaf fan.... Holy (frank) he is awful. |
