Would you want to sign here? I bet Gardiner told him to not even bother. You can't piss without somebody asking what colour it was. Play like a champ and you're fine. Make a mistake, people forgot about the last 2 weeks of playing like a champ. I don't think too many players are man enough to play in this market. Especially the good ones that are in the smaller markets down south.

I think that's pretty normal for a highly touted prospect. The guys who were drafted in the top 5, at least from Toronto, Montreal and Edmonton will probably get the same treatment when they sign their deals.

the kid was drafted by Anaheim in the 2nd round. This will become the trend for some kids in the NCAA...stay in school....become UFA...and get more money.
