Well he's gotten rid of 1/3 of the dead weight. And IMO, he should be focusing on getting rid of the other 2/3 rather than waste his time with trades or UFA signings.

And I'd rather our third line this year be the kid line:

We have Brown....why do we need Prust? Goal should be replacing Army with Doan.

Why waste cap space on a buyout. I'm sure he could be traded for 6th or 7th pick.

They probably tried that route. Probably thought about putting him through waivers and bringing him back, hoping that someone would take half of his salary. I'm sure Burke tried every avenue to move him, with no interest. So one down, 3 to go!
