I would love to see NY sign him and then send his ass back to Anaheim for Ryan or let him rot in Columbus in a trade for Nash.

Still think he should've sucked it up and played for Anaheim, or at least let Anaheim trade him. The fact that he de-registered from Wisconsin to exploit a loophole makes him look like more of a douche.

Thank you! That's all I wanted from him, give Murray 2 or 3 teams you're interested in and let Anaheim try to recoup some of their investment in him. Is that too much to ask?

Schultz the dbag signed with the oil. Glad he signed there cuz if he folds under the overwhelming pressure of playing in Canada he'll be holding a gun to his head sooner than later

If he goes to the Rangers he should love being molded into a clear if off the glass shot-blocker by Torts.

If he goes to Ottawa, he can just feed in to Karlsson his whole career!!

Don't blame him, blame the CBA for having the loophole in the first place. He's also not the first guy to do this.

Also, it's funny how you guys wish injury on Schultz for doing what he did, but you were perfectly fine with acquring this guy not too long ago, when he quit on his team.

The Ducks have had a run of good fortune for a while unlike the Oilers (excluding this year's draft lottery).

So does this mean the Ducks can have Smid back?

This is a stupid analogy you stole from McKenzie. Assets went both ways, Burke gave up a lot of Anaheim's future to win a Cup, what did Lowe give up to land Schultz? Some frequent flyer miles???

I wish people would stop trying to make the analogy with Pronger. It's not even close to being comparable. Edmonton got players and a boatload of draft picks for Pronger. What did Anaheim get for Schultz outside of a bunch of aggravation and a lot of wasted time?

I was just responding to all the inbreds in this thread wishing injury and personal harm on a player who followed the rules. The only reason there's backlash is because he's a high end prospect. He's not the first to take this loophole. My post was before Mackenzie's little twitter rant. People are ripping the kid shreds, and I just thought it was funny that ANA was on the other end of a similar equation a few years and of course no one here would complain.

Yea, you didn't even have to offer sheet to get Schultz. Any bets on when this kid will ask to be traded.
