Dan Cloutier on the ice with Canucks prospects. - 1970vintage
I think it's perfect. Gives the young guys plenty of confidence scoring goals. |

According to a source close to Bergevin: "Don't be surprised to see a Doan announcement to #Habs tomorrow around 4PM" #Canadiens
Secondary source, but in terms of those the Hockey Insider is the better one. |

Hey @stewartcink About as many patrons today at the AT&T national as a tuesday night battle between the panthers-thrashers in ATL.
I see why they were glad to get rid of him. |

Anyone else getting up at 5 AM to see Gillis announce that the Canucks have signed Tim Sestito to a one year deal of 625K
Next time MG that you are trying to schmooze a UFA, can I tell you to get them a Hummer. Young men in their twenties love Hummers.Hell if you have to ,get one for his dad and Grampa too. Just saying. Oilers had Gretz and Coffee .It does not hurt to grease the palms. |

Except he's not in gear, he's on like a coach or mentor. Was working with the goalie prospects with Melanson. |

The more things change the more they stay the same in Van City hey! Still no second line scoring threat, still no top four defenseman and still no third line center.
And Luongo is still on the team |

We do have 2 presidents trophy though.
I am giving Gillis until 3 pm tomorrow before I send HanktheTank over to bytch slap him.
I really like what we did at the draft. I can't believe I am saying this but I don't care if we don't overpay for UFAs tomorrow. I think the trade route is better. |

I don't blame Shultz for not wanting to play under AV. I'm sure parents and the home team factor swayed him somewhat... but there have been quite a few unhappy players leaving or on their way out the last few years... new players are typically scapegoats for AV. Shultz's chances at decent ice time was there(if he's capable) now that AV's favourite Dman Rome is gone. Smart move by MG...maybe Ballard gets ice time without Rome here. Got to plan ahead of AV's tendencies. |

It looks like AV is in charge of bringing in players. Why doesnt Gillis just call himself President/Ast GM.

I'm pretty sure it's MG's call with some input from AV, but MG doesn't seen like the type of guy who would let the coach make those kind of decisions. |
