Whether it happened or not, I don't much care, but there was some sloppy journalism with everyone picking it up off one report. Some of them at least did their jobs and got the standard "no comment" from both sides before writing about it, but most didn't even bother to place a call.

Just throwing this out there to see if I am far off. Have a bet with a friend regarding the team,year and how much PA will sign for. Since guessing the team is a crap shoot its basically years and money.

I say 5.25 mill for six years Team Montreal with NTC. With what average players are getting and he is the third highest UFA in point totals I think I am not that far off?

I'd be extremely thrilled if we do all of that. If they can pull it all off then I think the playoffs are definitely in the picture, as long as dipietro doesn't play a single game for the isles ever again.
