Considering WE were that team, I'm not shocked the media ran with it the way they did. It wasn't that implausable.

Agreed...but he's a center. If he pilots line two, that means you have to put Bailey on the wing, and where do you put Strome next year, if he's ready? Garrison is another guy I forgot about....that would be a decent pickup, but I think teams are going to jack his price up too high...if they want to spend stupid money, they can just sign Parenteau for $5M a year.

Snow said Bailey will be on the wing...Strome could be in the package to land Bobby Ryan. Remember we have Brock Nelson who figues to be a #2 center. So either Strome or Nelson could be traded. Jokinen would be a good pickup as would Prust...but if you give Prust $2.2 million per year what does Matt Martin deserve?
