Bobby Ryan is flat out stud, if isles some how aquired him,
the 1st line of JT-MM-BR would be flat out unstoppable - Ur Not Me
Just pointing out that I'd like to have him on this team, even if he costs us a couple of good prospects. That's how it goes. |

We've been at the "take it to the next level" point for two years. |

My prediction for Kyle next year is 30 and 30. I don't want to see him moved early like bertuzzi was. He's just starting to put it together after a serious injury and will break out this year. |

Tend to agree that it's possible. He needs more of an edge to his game to get there tho |

I want to believe his late season performance and his play at the IIHFs is an indication of where his game is going. Trading him now would not be the right move. |

If we can see the 2nd line put it together then this time will me in the playoff hunt.
KO has to put up near 60 points
Grabs needs to pot 27- 33 goals
Bailey has to produce 50-55 points
Boyes replacing PA is the other unknown.
Moulson JT Boyes
Grabs ? KO
Martin Frans Bailey
Joensuu Reasoner? Boulton?
Still need that stopgap 2nd line center till strome arrives. |

I'm not at all upset with yesterday, outside of the PAP signing in Colorado for a number the Isles should have matched. I don't see why there is all this hate for Boyes? Hes a solid player. PAPev was not even an NHL level player before he got on JT's wing and look how He turned out. Why can't anyone see a solid season from Boyes on JT's wing, from a guy who has been a solid contributor in the NHL in the past? Nobody here could have legitimately expected a better July 1 than yesterday was. Carkner and Visnovsky are significant upgrades over Eaton and Jurcina. At least Snow replaced PAP with a guy who has a chance to replace a majority of the points PAP scored.
The only thing missing is a second line center. Jokinen or Hudler would be awesome right now. That would round out the top nine nicely. Get one of those two, maybe add a Salvador as well, this team is much better on paper than last years. And BTW, are people really THAT upset over Haley signing a two way contract with the Rangers? Hes a plug. Hes not Clark Gillies. Haley will never be an NHL regular. By the time that contract becomes a one way deal, the Rangers will buy him out. |

Eklund''s got us tied into Bouwmeester now, which means it probably won't happen, but I'd take J-Bo in a New York minute.
Also, salary would help get to the floor. Wouldn't mind this one bit, and is probably why he'd be rumored here in the first place. I think a draft pick is all it would take. - potvin05

Hopefully Parise and Suter get signed early tomorrow and that free's up trades. D is improved. Goal scoring is weaker. I would have liked a tougher forward to play every game to help Martin as I doubt Bolten will play every game. - ses111

Salvador would be a great addition.......hope he signs on. Anyone else think Garth isnt done? Love to finally see a trade.
Boyes is the typical Snow move. Cheap talent with upside. Hope he plays like he did in St Louis, but hard to not feel like we've all seen this movie before. - kindlyrick
