He'll be playing with Duschene and he'll do fine. Lets not start with the hate. Four years at four mil is fair and we should have matched if we had the option? - Cptmjl
I don't think they wanted to pay him more than Moulson. |

It is but enough already. I would have loved to get Prust but he got way too much. |

Another tryout makes good: Isles should soon make official a one-year deal for defenseman Jon Landry. Was 2-18-20 in 34 AHL games here.
Probably a two way deal... |

P.A. Parenteau to COL, 4 yrs, $16M total. - BringBackBalky
Great deal for him & great player for them.
Snow should have gotten SOMETHING for him at the deadline... epic fail.
I love every move Snow has made & not made over the last few years.. but that one is just a complete bed crapping.
PAP is going to make him look silly over the next 4 years.

The problem is that Snow doesn't budge on this. Rangers do. Haley will be missed, loved the guy and he wasn't utilized properly. We'll see how it turns out for him with the Rangers. I honestly hope it works out for him. We didn't give him a chance. |

If he can score at the same pace it's not a bad deal but he's only had one good year and that's a long deal to eat if he falters. I wouldn't have signed him for that long or that much but it's no ehrhoff deal at least. Semin would be the guy I'd like to see them sign. I'm sick of watching him rip the isles apart with that wrist shot every year. |

Made no sense not to keep Haley. Isles all over the map one year they want toughness the next they do not. I'm hoping Isles still bring in a more impact player. |

Brutal Snow did not trade him. Still these salaries are way out of control. This is hockey the forth sport. |

BDGallof @BDGallof
RT @DobberHockey: PA Parenteau had 49 of his 67 points last year with Tavares on the ice...

Toughness should not be a big problem. I would love for the Isles to go hard for Ryan now. |

My guess is the Islanders need to include Ryan Strome in the deal. Probably don't want to do it... |

All the more reason to keep him with your star player or at least trade him for an asset. |

I would include him since they have Nelson. Nelson should be able to play 2nd line center. I would like to think Boyes was signed in case they need to move other pieces for Ryan or another impact guy. I'm not holding my breath though. |
