Isles still need to spend money. Boyes was only $1 million. Carkner only made $700K last year. If he doubled that that's still only $1.4. Sweet.

Not the contract that doesn't excite me, it's the player. Whether he makes $1m or $10m, he still takes up one roster spot. I don't want to be the black cloud here, this signing just does nothing for me is all. I'm sure everyone has a player in mind they don't really want to sign here. He was one of mine, which I said a day or two ago. Just being consistent!
