I don't understand. He was one year away from being a UFA. Pitt offered him a contract he said no and never asked to be traded. they moved him rather then lose him for nothing after next year. Where do you get that he pouted until he got his way? You're right about athletes today but I just didn't see that in this case

I think he said something like he'd only sign an extension with Carolina, not that he insisted on being traed there. Although, that pretty much guarantees that the only team that would give up anything worthwhile would be Carolina.

Eh, I watch the Sabres an awful lot, as I've said. I see nothing he adds that improves us. Not jumping off a bridge over here, but this seems like a waste of a roster spot to me.

Edit -- I think the Sabres' fans' comments in the main thread pretty much sum it up. I predict he's this year's Rolston. But I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time! Just basing my opinion off of what my own two eyes have seen.
