Yeah that's what I was thinking. Why would he not want to sign with the team he started his career with and played for his whole life? Who knows what the problem is. Maybe Lou was suggesting for him to play more of a back-up roll for a guy they could be bringing in or maybe it's cause of the money. Personally I wouldn't really care too much about the money if that was me and I was that far into my career unless it is ridiculously low...

The Oilers have Hall, Hopkins, and Yakapov, what about the tender and D-fense, nota, nothing. FA stay away from Edmonton like the plague. I bet Van City is the city he wants to be in and play for.

Not trolling just telling the truth, I live in BC but am a Leafs fan. So what, Edmonton sucks as a city and everyone knows it. Just telling you what everyone that has ever been to Edmonton already knows. Hell I was there for the VH concert in May. It's not even close to what Vancouver is, Edmonton is the original Fort Mac.
