It was what and who I was thinking about earlier today.

I can see Ana players hitting to hurt for the first game against Schultz. I imagined Getz just dropping the gloves and pounding him in a corner after a number of crosschecks.

I would think it was deserved even if Schultz was an Oiler

I bet they take extra hard runs at him next season no matter where he is playing. I can see a guy just ragdolling him in the first game.

Probably not true but yeah, give them our 1st round pick for next year. If we get Schultz and trade for Bernier we could contend for a playoff spot. The pick wouldn't be that high. Also, it sounds like Klefbom is looking pretty legit so far and its only July (almost) which will help on defense.

I still think most people, and maybe even players, fail to realize that its not all Justin Schultz creating this hype and drama. I'd say its definitely his agents bringing all the attention and he just goes along with it.

Players will probably hate on him and the fans, especially Anaheim and from teams on his shortlist, will boo him all the time because of this ridiculous media coverage which seems to make things worse.

But there are two scenarios...
1) shultz is too stupid to make a decision for himself, and only listens and does what his agent says as if he is a slave to his agents.
2) shultz wants what shultz wants and through his agent feeding him information and advice, is thereby acting like he is more special than every team and player in the league by his antics and through his actions has shown he has little to no character at all.

I'd say its maybe a mix of both. I think he knows what he wants to do more or less, but his agent is using him to control the situation and hype him up. Every agent wants his client to be in the spotlight and get all the attention. This might be getting to Schultz's head a little, with his agent and the media shoving it down his throat, but I'm not sure I could imagine him sitting in a room and saying "hey guys, im a stubborn, arrogant D bag so lets drag this out and make people beg"
