A forward prospect and/or early round picks. Something for the future. We don't need D, and I don't think we need anything other than a top left wing which TML can't really provide. - Wodanaz
You don't think Lupul or Kessel could play with Kopitar? I wouldn't give them up but just for arguments sake. |

You wouldn't want a guy like Kulemin on your third line over picks?
I would say Scrivens, a second and a fourth?
Lindback and Wilson got two seconds and a third caron and that is what I'm basing it off of. - maverickJ
LOL. No. I would def not want Kulimen for many reason. First off we dont need him. We have 3rd LW filled. Our AHL team isnt that good. Prospects and picks. Kuli is a decent player. But we dont need him. |

Well since everyone here seems to think they know everything about everything, allow me to explain something I do know about...
The cheese all over your fingers after eating some cheeto's. for years, I have suffered with the ANNOYANCE of having to go get a paper towel after I consumed my cheesy snacks. No more. I have learned to utilize my p ussy....................... cat, that is. Have your cat lick it off. Takes 3 seconds, and it's like it was never there.
Oh, and Luongo can go to Toronto. - Panthers88
He is Florida bound! (I hope) |

Sure they could. But they are not gonna. So there isnt point to that convo. We woudl have to move extra players out to make room for one of them. Kessel would cost way to mcuh since you guys paid out the a$$ for him. |

Have you seen him play? He had 1, and I'll repeat 1, monster game against Boston and he has become a playoff icon? The kid could still be a 20-25 goal scorer and maybe top out in the Kessel threshold of 30's, but nothing scary. - Glak18
haha top out in the Kessel threshold of 7th leading goal scorer in the nhl.... i will take it.... thanks |

What do you think it would actually take to make the trade work? - maverickJ
Honestly I have no clue.
I know LA wants a high prospect and a pick OR a roster player (I think top 6 but I dont know) and a pick. |

Lol this is a hockey forum, there is no point to any of our convos
And I know I was just saying that they would be an upgrade over Williams |

No. Kings dont need or have use for Kulimen. Id rather bring back Penner for a few bux than pay Kulimen what hes gonna want. But we still dont need him. Esp for Bern. |

Well. Lupul isnt an upgrade over Williams. And Kessel sure he could score. But he isnt gonna bring to the table what Williams does. Im not even a fan of Williams. He brings more to our team then both Lupul and Kessel. On that note i would be far more interested in Lupul than Kessel. |

How high of a prospect? A kadri? If I was putting Kadri in the deal I wouldn't include a roster player, maybe Kadri and a second or third but if you add a roster player to that it seems like an overpayment.
Macarthur and Scrivens for Bernier or
Kadri and a second for Bernier
Idk how something like that would go over with you guys , but I wouldn't go much higher then that. Maybe a pick in the Mac deal |

I think Kadri would be the only prospect we would have interest in. If he could play LW. I know he does it. But if he is comfortable with it. |

Why would any of these trades happen, Ek? Nash to Detroit's not happening because Detroit doesn't make big trades like that. Yandle to NYR isn't happening because defense is kind of their strong point. JayBo to Boston won't happen because Boston likes defensemen that can defend. |

Thats the asking price....I dont think LA gets that return though. We shall see.
I dont think its a "Kadri"
Edit: I do like that Saad and a 1st offer. So mayber it could be that "high" of a prospect. |

Yes I know. But I think the reasoning here are his knees, and the fact that he hasn't played a full season in the AHL. In my personal opinion, I think Theodore had a fluke season last year. I really do. If we send some decent salary to Vancouver, I would have no problem with Lu starting here while Markstrom backs him up. It allows Markstrom to gain some good NHL experience, which is something he may not be guaranteed otherwise since both GM's have voiced their hopes to send him down to the AHL for a full season. Markstrom may not like that. Now the question on all of our minds here is, what happens in 3 years when Markstrom is ready to start? We paying Lu 5 mil to sit? No thanks. |

Yeah if I was LA I wouldn't move Bernier yet anyway I'd rather let him develop and sell high. But I think those are some close trades. They don't seem too off base anyway in my opinion.
I could be biased tough, I try not to be |

Exactly I don't think most people would have a problem with Luongo's contract if it was 3 or 4 years long but there is some serious term on that and when Markstrom is ready Luongo will probably be un movable |

Lupul is a much better hockey player. Think about how inflated Justin Williams stats are playing with Brown and Kopi |
