The way I see it is like this, will Bowman do something, yes he will. He has to, Rocky wants him to. How big is another question.

If he is cautious then:

Sign Moss and Hannan

Trade Hammer for Zack Smith

If he goes bigger, which I have a weird sensation he is gonna do:

Doan will be a Hawk

Hannah or the like will be signed.

Hammer for Zack Smith.

This would be pretty decent considering.

Don't think it will be more than 2 maybe 3 transactions that Bowman does. But they have to be smart ones.

I wouldn't view Moss as a "cautious" signing. The guy is injury prone. Bowman signing Moss is a gamble.

For what it's worth, I like the idea of the last proposal. I could see those things happening. My gut keeps telling me Doan will be a Blackhawk come Sunday afternoon.

As for your "weird sensation," I think that statement falls into the "too much information" category.

Prust would be nice to add to Carcillo , Shaw and Bollig.

I love the thougt of Doan. I think Doan can still bring it and him and Toews would be super together.

Thank you, but many would probably say you're only half right.

But seriously - I would rather use whatever wit I have on real hockey stuff - there just ain't none right now.

My idea of a decent UFA outing is:

Doan
Souray (cannon for PP)
Allen
Prust

Hammer traded for Z. Smith and pick
Montador buried in Rockford
Bickell/Stalberg gone for picks

- ikeane

Hahahaha. I like it, but it's a little tad more than decent. That's too much for Bowman. Lol. Now a normal GM, that's just another days work.

I think if even those were the only two improvements the team would be a lot better.
