To be fair, to Elias, the puck probably wasn't as significant at that point in time and wasn't significant until the Kings came out and wanted to find the puck. If Elias was really a scumbag, the puck wouldn't have "appeared' in his equipment bag. The puck obviously holds a lot bigger value after the Kings came out and said it, and Elias gave it back like they asked.

Anyways, what would the Kings want?

If they were to trade Bernier, what would be the return. Your roster is pretty much set and the prospect pool is pretty set too, so it's probably going to take a pretty big offer...

They can want a lot, but I doubt teams are willing to overpay for potential. Although there are some desperate teams for a goalie out there. I actually think they could try and move him for an impact player.

I didn't doubt he'd return it, but you guys were all saying he wouldn't have taken it, he's not that type of guy. I don't have a problem really with him taking it, just the fact he didn't own up to it at first and that you guys were defending him saying he wouldn't have taken it or lied about it.

Of course he took it and lied, but he owned up and is a bigger man than some who have have never owned up.

I do believe Bernier ends up in NJ given the history between Lou and Dean, he'll be on the East Coast, and he has a good chance of starting in the next couple years.

Like I said, the Kings in a perfect world would take a 2nd or 3rd line player, but ill bet its a prospect and a pick or maybe a bigger deal moving Richardson and Bernier (or someone else than Richardson) for a second or third liner (wing).

That's fine. I don't care about the puck personally.

I just found it poopty on his part to have the sense to to pick the puck up, take it with him, put it in his locker, and then put it in his bag, while saying he doesn't know where it was.

Of course he did, like I said all along.

But at least he manned up and is giving it back.
