it's a lot of term and too much money for what he brings (Bruins fans thought he sucked long before he was dealt) but it's not in the realm of a Wade Redden/Scott Gomez deal. what makes the deal dumb is the team that gave him that contract. it's like the Flames are addicted to mediocrity.
