You sir are using logic something which leaves GM's minds this time of year. It is just like any other auction type situation, you get caught up in the bidding frenzy and over-spend. that is the reason that the salary cap has been such a boom to the league as a whole. Keeps the idiots running the asylum from breaking it.

I'm very glad Gill re-signed with us. I guess some people really were taking his quotes out of context about us being a city who doesn't talk about hockey on game day. Him and Ellis will be an interesting 3rd pairing for sure.
