Lets Roll...

He will look good in orange and black. From a fan's perspective, JVR never had a Flyer personality. Schenn looks like he'll fit in fine

Hes the perfect fit. The best thing for Schenn was to get the heck out of Toronto.

Luke Schenn will wear number 22.
- Pat MaGroin

Flyer # 22's off the top of my head...

Rick Tocchet, Luke Richardson, Mike Knuble, Mike Peluso, Ville Leino, Ben Holmstrom, Bob Corkum...

That's all I can remember, I bet there at least another 10 guys who wore it.

No. He turned down a $3M, one-year contract offer from Dallas because he wants multi-year. Steer clear of the over-35 contract on a guy with his injury history. His play dropped significantly both offensively and defensively (largely due to foot injuries) after a hot start last season.

Flyers already have plenty of size on the blueline. Souray still has the huge shot (although the accuracy went AWOL after the first 6 weeks of last season) but not much else left in tank. Takes way too many penalties, lead-footed, too.
