If it's all about Gardiner he'd be going to TOR no questions asked.

As for Ryan it was a coaching thing with Carlyle and Murray did drop the ball naming his name more than one.

That loophole Schultz used isn't exactly news to anyone.

One thing is for sure, Murray sure hurt himself when he dealt Lubo for nothing. How do you expect to convince Perry and Getzlaf to sign extensions if you are just giving assets away?

I really don't care what he gets on one year deals. Give him 2-3mil base and 2-3mil bonuses. I was just worried he gets a 2-3 deal and gets hurt or retires or continue to decline.

Most guys are going to be UFA's and you have to wonder if they just say (frank) this and leave.

Yeah they did. For at least the last couple years, they've run a bad organization there. I don't know if ownership knows or cares at this point.

They're walking a fine line of going into mediocrity if they don't figure out how to run an organization the right way soon. No offense to the fans, but they don't have many fans to begin with, and if the team starts tanking, a lot of those fans will leave and then what?
