oh ya they'll lose their poop. But, they have interests of ownership too. One could argue they could lose more in a year or 2 of a bad CBA deal that reduces ownership revenues than they would by losing a season of broadcasted games.

Dunno - as owners, I'm sure they wouldn't mind seeing a point or two coming off the players revenue share but they will have very little patience for jeoprodizing the season just to prop up the financial basket cases in the League.

Owners kept their mouths shut last CBA. I don't think Gary has the same latitude from the big boys this time round.

I just don't think a 22 year old kid chooses Edmonton. If you could live in Van, Tor or Edmonton as a young, single, newly rich, famous athelete which would you choose?

honestly....at this stage of his career, he can vacay in his offseaon to nicer places....edmonton may be the prime place for him to build a real name for himself at the NHL level.

add Schultz, a few other free agents/trades to that team...fml...they are going to be solid.

no idea....they said they would post it and see how it does. Ive been thinking up some ideas for things to write about too. Most people figured I was just a Leafs fan, but I grew up in the prairies and most of my friends were big fans and Ive followed the Flames ever since. Be a challenge to write about stuff that most fans dont already know or have heard about in the news, but Im up for it!

yep. so he could have stayed in Anaheim. lived there in-season, bought a nice cottage in the BC for the summers. at this point, he's not considering which city has more sushi restaurants and opera houses.
