Worst three GMs in the NHL:
3. Feaster
2. Snow
1. Howson - Leeman4Gilmour
You can add Tambellini to the list!
Seriously, what has he really done over the past few years to improve the Oilers?
A. His first rounders pretty much pick themselves and have been no brainers aside from the decision between Hall/Seguin and it's looking like Seguin might be the better pick.
B. Hasn't made any significant trades worthy of note.
C. Krueger... PFFFT!! HA!! Enough said.

Doan would be unreal. So would Taylor Pyatt, big winger for the 3rd line. Signing guys like this will change the attitude of the team, and allow some of our prospects to develop with the Marlies, |

The whole team has a NMC. - robin_steele264
Man i love saying it, they suck. Worst team in Canada and by a mile. Everyone else going upwards or peaking like Vancouver and they are putting off the inevitable and should just move Iggy and Kipper and be done with it. 9th to 11th every year sucks. |

I'd stay away from Prust. Pyatt is a great 3rd liner. Trading Connolly seems like a great fit so that we could bring in Parros to fight. |

I think Tambo has done a good job thus far in tanking and rebuilding. We won't really know how good of a GM he is until we see the team progressing. He's done a much better job at rebuilding then Burke that's for sure. They have what four franchise players now? Absurd. |

Trading Connoly would be the dupe of the year. Parros is a bit of a sideshow. We have Brown who will fight anybody. I'd like to see how Army would do with a full year healthy |

Other than the dipietro deal I think snow has done okay..
Not his fault no one wants to play there, they're under funded, with an old arena and cheap owner
Howson should stop trading .. Period
And feaster, well.. Part of me thinks the owners are pushing for playoff revenue.. How can anyone make the same mistakes over and over? Baffling.
Wideman is a good pickup, and I think it's a fair contract Cept the NMC - Dozzer
OK but for Howson... in his defence, i gotta say--Steve Mason is horrendous. Burke gets a bit of a pass in Toronto because a lot is blamed on one position--goaltending. Howson moved to grab a goalie this offseason. who knows what they look like with that position shored up. (and im not saying it will be.) but he gave Mason a second chance and now he's taking steps to move forward from that. as for the Carter trade, yeah, in hindsight, not good. but he got royally (frank)ed on that. he took a shot. he didn't know Carter would turn into such a wussy and want out. and even in that, Jack Johnson, Ryan Murray, Fedor Tyutin, Mark Methot, James Wisniewski--dude, that's a solid, solid defence in Columbus. they've drafted poop and that's killed them but....
ok the Scott Howson defence stops there. |

Tambi said he was gonna rebuild and keep his picks. He was interested in a 5 year rebuild.
Where is mr. Not interested in 5 year rebuild on your list?

Re-building is overrated. Atlanta, NYI, Florida etc have had top pick for years. The trick is to find a good competative enviroment for the team to build through. All Edm has accmplished is a losing culture that hasn't gone away in years. Yes they have great offensive prospects, but their goaltnding is suspect, and their D sucks |

Great players but that ship is sinking and fast, may as well buy some more lifeboats in the way of picks and prospects. |

it's really, really not. rebuilding is not always successful. but you know what's never successful? not rebuilding. it's way too early to judge Edmonton's rebuild. they've gone Pittsburgh-style scorched earth but without mining a Crosby and Malkin. and they don't have a Shero. but no one can say yet whether it will be successful or not. |

Kreuger fixed the PP and PK last year, and had the team rolling when Renney went down with a concussion...
Need some D, but theres some pretty good prospects there.
I like Dubnyk... he takes the net this year.
