True. I don't get how anybody could snub their nose at Doan. He's one of the last pure power forwards in the game (Yes the one that actually fights and hits) and in one of the most conservative systems has systematically added 20 goals and 50 points. He would be in every team in the leagues top-6.

I agree....I think a huge part of that meltdown last year was the lack of veteran leadership.....a guy who can pick the team up by the scruff of the neck and knock some sense into them. Phaneuf, although he has other strengths, is not that guy. Doan is made of that ilk.....like a Dougie or a Wendel.

Well he won't be coming here so I guess it's moot. Hope they can land Prust. He and Brown on a 4th line going forward would be really nice. Especially for the PK. Just need a faster centre than Steck

My list looks like this...

60% - Vancity
30% - Edmonton
9% - Detroit
1% - Toronto

I think Vancouver has him all but locked up. Only Edmonton can ruin that party...If Vancity gets him they'll then try to trade Ballard and I don't think they'll be successful.
